Samuel L. Jackson has called on Bill Cosby to respond to claims of rape and sexual assault made by numerous women.
Jackson made the remarks on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live on Thursday evening, Philly.com reports.
When asked by host Andy Cohen about the recent allegations against Cosby the Pulp Fiction star, who worked as a rehearsal stand in for him on The Cosby Show, responded: "I wish that he would say something."
He went on: “I mean, I can’t make a judgment about it. I mean, I make my judgments because I have a daughter, I have a wife that I love. I have a lot of women in my life, and I know, you know, women are vulnerable in this society. And people with power take advantage of people.”
The actor has strenuously denied all of the allegations made against him, both personally and through his lawyer, Marty Singer.
He recently thanked Eddie Murphey for turning down the opportunity to impersonate him in a sketch for Saturday Night Live’s 40th anniversary, telling NBC through a spokesperson: “I am very appreciative of Eddie and I applaud his actions."
