DJ Calvin Harris has hit back at claims that he and Taylor Swift have split up, following false reports that he had a salacious appointment at a massage parlour.

Gossip website Radar Online reported that Swift, 25, ended their relationship, which they went public with in May, after Harris, 31, was pictured leaving a Thai massage parlour.

But the Summer DJ was quick to put the rumour straight, threatening to sue those who reported the original claims for defamation. Swift appeared to cement the fact that the report was false by favouriting the tweet.

Swift's publicist also responded to the false claims.

The claims come after Swift told NME that she had learned from her heated Twitter exchange with rapper Nicki Minaj.

The musicians engaged in a heated debate after Minaj said that MTV only celebrates a certain type of female bodies.

Swift told the magazine that knowing how to deal with a fallout was “an important lesson for anyone to learn in 2015”.
