Riddle of the hanging pig heads

COMMUTERS WERE confronted with severed pigs' heads hanging from railings yesterday. Police said 21 heads had been found on main Merseyside roads and similar incidents had occurred through the county. Officers are investigating but farmers' leaders denied involvement.
