Faster than a speeding bullet? A group of soldiers admire the Bloodhound Project jet engine and hybrid rocket motor powered car at the Wellington Barracks in central London.

The Defence minister, Philip Dunne, announced MoD involvement for the Bloodhound Project aimed at breaking the world land speed record with a car powered by a jet engine and a hybrid rocket motor, with an estimated speed of 1,050 mph.
