A boy aged five was awarded pounds 1.3m damages at the High Court. Jan Leszkiewicz, of Cheltenham, Gloucester, has severe cerebral palsy, which his counsel said was due to lack of action on clear signs of foetal distress during his birth at St Paul's Maternity Hospital, Cheltenham.
