TWENTY-NINE children and adult campers taken ill with suspected food poisoning were last night said to be improving in hospital as tests continued to find the source of the outbreak. The group, among a party of 50, suffered severe diarrhoea and vomiting at their site near Barmouth, Gwynedd.

An isolation ward was set up at Bangor hospital where they are expected to remain for another two or three days.
