Celebrity PR man Max Clifford appeared in court today, and denied 11 indecent assault charges.

Clifford, 70 and from Hersham, Surrey, allegedly assaulted seven different teenage girls and women between 1966 and 1985.

He was arrested in December 2012 and charged in April. He denies all charges.

Clifford spoke only to confirm his name and to enter not-guilty pleas to the charges during the 40-minute hearing.

He was released on bail until his trial next March. It is expected to last up to four weeks.

Clifford, who was arrested last December and charged in April, was released on conditional bail and told he must live at his Surrey home.

Judge Anthony Leonard told Clifford that he is not allowed to contact prosecution witnesses.
