Mother charged with murder of her baby son and daughter

A woman was remanded in custody yesterday charged with the double murder of her two young children.

Hairdresser Felicia Boots, 34, is accused of murdering her 10-week-old son Mason and his 14-month-old sister Lily, who were found unconscious at their home in Wandsworth, south London, by their father, Jeff Boots, on Wednesday. She will appear at the Old Bailey next week.

The couple are understood to have moved to the UK from Canada a few years ago.
