Man charged with murder after woman stabbed in London
Police called to reports of a disturbance at a home in Stockwell on Sunday

A 27 year-old man has been charged with murder after a woman was stabbed to death in south London.
Mark Alexander, of Lambeth, is set to appear in custody at Croydon Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
Police were called to a disturbance at a home on Clapham Road, Stockwell, at around 9.10pm on Sunday.
Paramedics attended the incident, but the victim, a woman in her 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Formal identification of the victim has yet to take place. A post-mortem examination was due to be held on Tuesday.
