Damages claim fails
Michelle Howard, 27, a solicitor who became paralysed from the chest down after a routine operation to realign her jaw at Poole General Hospital, Dorset, in 1982, lost her claim for damages against Wessex Health Authority at the High Court after failing to prove the injury was caused during surgery.
