Defendant death

One of the men accused of the execution of two Russian envoys in London has been found hanged from a knotted sheet in his prison cell. Mkrtitch Martirossian, 30, was discovered at Belmarsh prison, south London, on 7 June, Marlborough Street magistrates were told. His co-defendant, Gagic Terogannsyan, 33, was sent for trial at the Old Bailey.
