SIR Peregrine Worsthorne, epitome of traditional values, makes a surprise choice for his luxury item in today's Desert Island Discs on Radio 4: mind-bending drugs. The former Sunday Telegraph editor, now a columnist, said he would like to spend his time in 'happy hallucinations' with drugs such as LSD.
