Garden to be dug up in hunt for boy
Police searching for a missing nine-year-old boy are to dig up the garden of the family home in Beckton, east London. Hopes are fading of finding Daniel Handley alive after his disappearance last Sunday.
A police spokseman said yesterday that officers would start digging at the home and at a nearby address where Daniel lived six months ago. He said the move was part of an 'in-
depth forensic search' for elimination purposes.
It was also disclosed that Daniel's silver BMX bike was found near his home on the evening that he disappeared.
