Unions ready for fight over 24-hour Tube
A working party of management and unions has been set up to investigate running the London Underground 24 hours a day during the 2012 Olympics.
But sources at the RMT and TSSA unions said they expected a battle with Transport for London over pay during the Games, from 27 July to 12 August. The sources added that unions had ruled out a two-year deal from April, to include the period covering the Games.
