Video: Royal hospital chief executive pays tribute to dead nurse
The head of the hospital which treated the Duchess of Cambridge has praised the nurse who was found dead today, who had earlier answered a prank call from Australian radio DJs impersonating the Queen.
John Lofthouse of the King Edward VII hospital paid tribute to nurse Jacintha Saldanha whose unconscious body was found just yards from the hospital earlier this morning.
In the statement he said that Saldanha was an 'excellent nurse and well-respected and popular with her colleagues'.
