Pannone Napier, set up in 1986 to work for plaintiffs in multi-party claims, is to be dissolved. Its two founders, the personal injury specialists Rodger Pannone and Michael Napier, say the firm has served its purpose, having revolutionised the handling of class actions by the courts and legal aid authorities. Their respective practices, Pannone & Partners and Irwin Mitchell, will work together when appropriate. A factor in the decision to close Pannone Napier is the cost of running a separate practice staffed by the same partners as the parent firms.
