A brother of Simon Hughes, the Liberal Democrat MP, died after catching malaria on honeymoon. Richard Hughes, 57, of Durweston, Dorset, died six weeks after his fortnight in Kenya with his wife, Jocelyn Griffith-Jones, 38.
