A 29-year-old man was beaten and subjected to a homosexual assault as he walked home early yesterday. The victim, who needed hospital treatment, was clubbed then dragged along a footpath in Leigh, Greater Manchester, and repeatedly punched and kicked before being assaulted. Police are seeking a man who is believed to have been acting alone.
