Guy's hospital in south London became the first in Europe to offer staff and patients a McDonald's burger on site, when a 115- seat restaurant opened. Sir Philip Harris, chairman of Guy's, said: 'This is in keeping with our trust charter commitment to improve conditions for staff.' Jimmy Kikozi, Guy's senior caterer, said: 'I imagine we will now see people wearing happy hats around the hospital.'
