A missing eight-year-old girl has allegedly been taken by her father without her mother’s consent, with police “growing increasing concerned” for the child’s welfare.

Katrina Carvajal-Zurita, from Streatham in South London, was last seen at 6pm on Tuesday on Greyhound Lane.

Police say it is believed that her father, Robert Carvajal, 31, intends to take his daughter back to Bolivia with him.

The Force is now appealing for any information that may lead to the girl’s whereabouts.

She is described as being of Spanish ethnicity with long brown hair and a slim build.

At the time of her disappearance she was wearing a black t-shirt, white shorts, white trainers and a polkadot scarf.
