Murder trial ends
The trial of Jeremy Lowndes, 66, a British property millionaire charged with the murder of his wife Carmel, ended in Cadiz, southern Spain. A verdict is expected in seven to 10 days. Mrs Lowndes, 68, was found bludgeoned to death in the couple's villa at Sotogrande, on the Costa del Sol, in 1992.
