An out-of-court settlement was reached in a dispute between an estranged couple over a pounds 225,000 spot-the-ball contest. Ivy Richardson, 64, of Pelton, Co Durham, had accused her former partner, Tom Buckingham, 68, of walking off with the money won with a joint entry.
