Sports sponsorship by tobacco companies leads children as young as six to have a favourable view of smoking, Action on Smoking and Health (Ash) claimed as the Commons National Heritage Committee began an examination of sponsorship and TV coverage. Ash said it provided hours of exposure of otherwise-banned brand names.
