For the first time in thirteen years, every London Underground line will be closed for 24 hours as four unions strike over the start of the all-night tube service set to start in September.

All 11 lines - Bakerloo, Central, Circle, District, Hammersmith & City, Jubilee, Metropolitan, Northern, Piccadilly Victoria and Waterloo & City - across 270 stations will be closed for 24 hours from 6pm on Wednesday, with services set to still be disrupted come Friday morning.

Members of the Rail, Maritime and Transport (RMT), Unite and Transport and Salaried Staff Association (TSSA) will walk out from 6pm, while members of Aslef, which represents tube drivers, will walk out for 24 hours from 9.30pm.
