Pope Francis Thug Life is probably the finest Thug Life video yet

Damn, it feels good to be a pontiff.

The meme that keeps on giving, Unexpected Thug Life usually revolves around brazen animals, sulky reporters and profane children, but rarely a belligerent pontiff.

But Pope Francis' recent warning that anyone who insults his mum can expect a punch in the face made him a perfect candidate for the thug life treatment.

"You have an obligation to speak openly, we have that freedom, but without causing offence," he told reporters while on route to the Philippines.

"It is true we cannot react violently, but if Dr Gasbarri here, a great friend, were to say something insulting against my mother, a punch awaits him."
