Oscar Pistorius’ sister emerged from court today in tears after a man described in media reports as a self-confessed killer allegedly mouthed obscenities at her.

Aimee Pistorius reportedly told Pretoria court officials that Mike Schultz, who confessed to the murder of businessman Brett Kebble in 2005, mouthed “F*** you” at her.

Mr Schultz, who allegedly said he was in court to support the family of Reeva Steenkamp, claimed: "That did not happen. The Pistorius family are all liars”.

“They [are] the victims once again. The Pistorius's are clearly a bunch of liars along with Oscar,” he said to reporters outside the court when questioned.

The events come at the end of the fourth day of Pistorius’ sentencing trial. Judge Thokozile Masipa later adjourned the court hearing until Friday morning.

Earlier Ms Steenkamp’s cousin Kim Martin gave an emotional tribute to her family, calling on the South African judicial system to punish Pistorius for his actions which had left a “broken family”.

Pistorius awaits sentencing after being convicted of culpable homicide for shooting Ms Steenkamp in his home last year.
