Diego Mino, a drummer in a local band, inadvertently captured the moment he was pickpocketed during a visit from the Pope to the country’s capital, Quito on Tuesday. Take a look below.

The Pope’s visit to give mass attracted crowds of nearly one million people; so in a cramped environment, the pickpocket believed he could go unnoticed.

But, the video above captured everything - from Mino singing along to proceedings to the man in the black jacket slipping his hand into the drummer’s pocket unnoticed.

In two days, the video has been viewed nearly 150,000 times, but the pickpocket has not yet been identified.
