An 82-year-old woman called the police after she was convinced she heard someone chanting “Isis is good, Isis is great” while they were having sex.

The woman, from Brown Deer village in Milwaukee, Winsconsin, telephoned the police about her concerns on Sunday night after she thought she heard her neighbour repeatedly say the name of the brutal terrorist group, Islamic State, reports CBS 58.

The extremist group has also come to be known as Isis (the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria), as well as Isil (the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant) and Daesh.

The police told the woman to call them back if she heard the chanting again.

Although when Brown Deer Police chief Kass was asked about the incident on Twitter later, he said: “Maybe taking see something say something a little too far?”

Last month, a mother was left outraged after the spread company Nutella refused to personalise one of its jars with the name of her daughter, Isis, because it is now so associated with the terrorist group.

Heather Taylor, from Illawarra, south of Sydney, had named her five-year-old after the Egyptian goddess, known in mythology for being an ideal mother and wife.

She said: “This negative publicity of such a beautiful name needs to stop now.”
