Kim Jong-Un's official car flanked by 12 bodyguards running in formation
As the North Korean leader Kim Jong-un arrived in South Korea, his official vehicle was flanked by a human motorcade.
President Moon Jae-in welcomed him for a historic summit where both countries agreed to turn their fortified border into a “peace zone”.
The meeting marked the first time each country’s leaders have met in more than a decade. The two sides announced they would seek to establish a “permanent” and “solid” peace on the peninsula.
The 12-man security team are seen running in a synchronised formation around Mr Kim’s car, shepherding him across the border into South Korea.
Both leaders took part in a ceremony to plant a memorial tree. The pine tree was planted in a mixture of soil from both countries’ mountains and water from their respective rivers.
