NAPLES (AP) - Officials closed the city to most private traffic yesterday after air pollution sent dozens of Neapolitans to hospital with coughs, irritated eyes and shortness of breath. Authorities were not sure what caused the bad air, which affected several districts. There was speculation that industrial pollution coupled with exhaust from heavy traffic caused the health problems.
