Geneva (Reuter) - The German theology professor Konrad Raiser was chosen as general secretary of the World Council of Churches, the Protestant-dominated ecumenical organisation. Professor Raiser, 54, replaces Emilio Castro, a Uruguayan Methodist pastor.
