AHolocaust survivor, Yaakov Weinberger, tried to kill himself in despair at the acquittal of John Demjanjuk on charges of being the Treblinka gas-chamber operator, 'Ivan the Terrible', AFP reports from Jerusalem. Mr Wein burger, who lost all his family in the Holocaust, took an overdose of tranquillisers.
