California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger visited Moscow yesterday and ended up being offered the mayoralty of the city by the Russian President.
Dmitry Medvedev's joking offer was not the only odd event in the former bodybuilder's visit. He also pumped a little iron with Mr Medvedev.
Mr Schwarzenegger, who steps down as Governor of California in January, did not appear to be tempted by the job offer. "There are a lot of options: make movies, write books," he said. "I have three months to think."
