Nigeria's Federal Court of Appeal in Kaduna will hear an appeal tomorrow by the government's electoral commission (NEC) against a court order blocking final presidential poll results, Reuter reports from Lagos.
The appeal, which comes amid a political storm following the 12 June poll, was lodged yesterday by the NEC. The appeal is against a court order issued last week that caused the NEC to suspend the release of final poll results. Unofficial results showed Moshood Abiola way ahead of his rival, Bashir Tofa.
