HAMBURG (AFP) - To the horror of German whiskey-lovers, one of America's best-known bourbons has been transformed into a 'sewer cocktail'. More than 3,000 gallons of Jim Beam were poured down Hamburg drains after the bottles arrived badly damaged.
Environmental watchdogs ruled that the Tennessee whiskey could cause pollution, but officials found that one part whiskey mixed with four parts water went down smoothly.
