The Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie, a special envoy for the UN refugee agency, met Syrian refugees in Turkey yesterday, following trips to Jordan on Tuesday and Lebanon on Wednesday.

Listening to accounts of how they escaped the civil war in their homeland, Jolie appealed for more help to aid their plight.
