Mike Pence in Israel: Arab politicians forced out of Knesset for protesting during US Vice President's speech
Mike Pence became the first US vice president to address the Knesset
Arab MPs were forcibly removed from the Israeli parliament after protesting during US Vice President Mike Pence’s speech.
The lawmakers heckled Mr Pence and brandished signs which read: “Jerusalem is the capital of Palestine”.
A scuffle erupted as ushers forced them out of the Knesset.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu branded the boycott a disgrace. He and other parliamentary members stood to applaud Mr Pence during the disturbance.
