Rabin threat
Israel's Prime Minister, Yitzhak Rabin, threatened yesterday to refuse future deals with the PLO unless it reaffirmed its commitment to peace with his country, Reuter reports from Nahal Oz checkpoint, Israel. In Jerusalem, the deputy mayor, Schmuel Meir, has called for the assassination of the PLO chief, Yasser Arafat, and offered a reward, the Haaretz newspaper reported yesterday.
