PSG are being backed to knock Manchester City out of the Champions League

We take a look at the odds surrounding the quarter-final meeting

If you believe the bookies, Manchester City face a mammoth task to reach the semi-finals of the Champions League.

They are 13-8 with BetVictor to see off Paris St Germain in the last eight ahead of tomorrow night’s first-leg tie in France.

City made a welcome return to the form at the weekend, winning 4-0 at Bournemouth for their first victory in four games, and they can be backed at 21-5 to prevail in Paris.

PSG, who knocked Chelsea out of the competition in the previous round, have already won the French title and are 4-9 to progress.

Not for the first time, Sergio Aguero will be key for City and he’s 2-1 to score in the first leg, while Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who warmed up for City by scoring a hat-trick at the weekend, is 29-10 to break the deadlock.

In the Europa League, Jurgen Klopp isn’t expected to bite the hand that fed him when he returns to Borussia Dortmund with his Liverpool side for a first-leg quarter final tie.

Liverpool are 6-1 to win Thursday’s match and 15-8 to make it through to the semis.
