Tyson Fury seen 'skanking out' to drum and bass after turning up at Bournemouth nightclub

Self-proclaimed lineal heavyweight champion likened to 'a real Junglist soldier'

Boxer Tyson Fury has been spotted dancing to drum and bass after turning up at a nightclub in Bournemouth.

The 30-year-old could be seen bouncing around in the middle of a crowd of revellers, the majority of whom looked delighted the self-proclaimed lineal heavyweight champion of the world had joined them.

The 6ft 9-inch fighter, who was dressed in a navy blue suit, remained in high spirits as members of the crowd at Eden nightclub eagerly tried to film him.

“Who's having a good time?” the MC could be heard saying.

Fans online expressed their joy and surprise at the footage, hailing Fury as the “people’s champion”.

“Tyson Fury turning up at my mates small DnB rave in Bournemouth and skanking out like a real Junglist soldier is something else!” said one Twitter user.

Another claimed the Manchester-born boxer had “jumped on a set” with Drum and Bass MC Harry Shotta at the venue for the "Major#Bass" event.

"Big up Tyson Fury calmly passing through the dance and skanking out to our set tonight," Harry Shotta tweeted.

Fury, who has previously been criticised for homophobic, sexist and antisemitic comments, grabbed headlines for letting his hair down at Gottwood Festival in Llanfaethlu, near Anglesey, in North Wales, in June 2016.

He was captured on camera cutting shapes to dance musician Artwork’s song “Let Go Of My Acid” at the independent house and techno festival in the woodlands just weeks before his rematch with Wladimir Klitschko.

A representative for Fury did not immediately respond to request for comment.
