England batsman Jonathan Trott will not take part in Warwickshire's upcoming tour of Barbados, the Bears director of cricket Dougie Brown has confirmed.
Trott left England's tour of Australia this winter after the first Test due to a stress related illness and the England and Wales Cricket Board announced that the number three would be taking a break from cricket for the "foreseeable future".
The 32-year-old's county are flying to the Caribbean on March 12 as part of their preparations for the domestic season and Brown has confirmed that Trott will not be joining them.
"From our side nothing has changed," he told the Daily Telegraph.
"His recovery is still being managed by the ECB and we have heard nothing from them about when he might be ready to return to training or playing.
"We have said all along that we are here when he is ready to come back but we do not know exactly when that might be.
"We are going to Barbados on March 12 and Jonathan will not be in the squad for the tour but we had never pencilled him anyway."
