Surrey booked their place in the Friends Life T20 Finals Day for the first time since 2006 after edging to a three-wicket win over Somerset in their quarter-final at The Oval.

Despite an unbeaten 70 from Craig Kieswetter, Somerset could total only 148 for 6 and that was never likely to be enough after Steven Davies and Jason Roy launched Surrey's reply with an opening stand of 62. The hosts lost three late wickets but Jon Lewis hit the winning runs with six balls remaining. They were joined by Northamptonshire, who beat Durham by 36 runs.
