IF beleaguered Barnet win their survival battle, they will face their former manager, Barry Fry, in the first round of the Coca-Cola Cup.

Barnet are due to meet Southend United, who took Fry from Underhill last season, in the two-leg tie, with the first leg at Roots Hall during the week commencing 16 August.

The draw for this season's competition was delayed for two weeks until Barnet's fate was decided by an extraordinary meeting of Football League clubs in Nottingham on Monday, at which the debt-ridden Hertfordshire team were given a reprieve from expulsion from the League. However, Barnet's participation in the League and Coca-Cola (League) Cup depends on their ability to raise pounds 500,000 within a week to satisfy the demands of the League.

Wycombe Wanderers, newly promoted from the GM Vauxhall Conference, take on Leyton Orient, with the second leg at Adams Park in the week starting 23 August.
