It's not all about the action at the top though with Norwich, Watford and Brentford promoted to the top tier for 2020/21 and hoping to hold their own against the best English football has to offer and avoid the drop.

Both teams head into the summer now with work to do. Arsenal have to prepare for the additional challenges of the Europa League, while Everton will be bidding to strengthen their squad to prevent another battle against relegation. The action all starts again in August.

Arsenal end the Premier League campaign with an emphatic 5-1 win over Everton at the Emirates Stadium. Despite hammering the Toffees, the Gunners have to settle for a place in the Europa League as Tottenham's win over Norwich City has allowed them to finish in the top four ahead of their North London rivals. Mikel Arteta can still be proud of his team's performance as Gabriel Martinelli put his team ahead from the penalty spot and Eddie Nketiah added a second. The only blemish of the day came before half-time when Donny van de Beek got a goal back for the visitors. However, Arsenal responded with a dominant second-half outing as further strikes from Cedric Soares, Gabriel Magalhaes and Martin Odegaard wrapped up the three points.

SAVE! Lokonga floats a long ball over the top for Pepe to collect and he weaves his way past two defenders. There is space for the forward to strike at goal, but Begovic gets down to save his attempt.
