A Theo Walcott-inspired Arsenal are sitting top of Group A in the Champions League ahead of back-to-back games against Ludogorets, starting on Wednesday at the Emirates.

The Gunners remain undefeated so far after drawing with Paris Saint-Germain and beating Basel but they will have to keep their concentration against the group minnows if they are to stay top and avoid one of the bigger European teams in the Round of 16.

The game which will decide that will be the return game against PSG but if Arsenal can keep scoring goals then they will have the upper hand when that clash comes around.

Aaron Ramsey and Olivier Giroud will both miss the game as they step up their returns from injury but Francis Coquelin could start in central midfield.

It’s a big game for…

Mesut Ozil. With the likes of Alexis Sanchez and the in-form Walcott around him, the onus will be on the German to pull the strings and ensure Arsenal win by a healthy margin, to ease the pressure ahead of the inevitable Group A showdown with PSG later in the stage.

Best stat…

Arsenal haven’t remained unbeaten in their first three Champions League group games since 2011/12.

Remember when...

Arsenal claimed a famous 2-0 win over Bayern Munich on Matchday 3 of the Champions League last season. The Gunners had lost their first two games of the competition and faced early elimination but Olivier Giroud and Mesut Ozil turned their group stage around.

Player to watch…

Theo Walcott. The forward has seven goals in nine games for the Gunners this season and shrugged off a poor international break with England with a brace against Swansea on the weekend.
