Barcelona will be looking for their first league win since mid-September when they entertain Sevilla in Catalonia.

Ernesto Valverde’s side have drawn three and lost one of their last four La Liga fixtures, but the Catalans will hope to come back from the international break refreshed to claim their first league win since their 2-1 triumph at Real Sociedad.

Sevilla, meanwhile, are on a four-game winning run in the league, following victories against Levante, Real Madrid, Eibar and Celta Vigo.

What time does it start?

Barcelona vs Sevilla kicks off at 7:45pm on Saturday.

Where can I watch it?

The match will be shown live on Eleven Sports 1 from 7:35pm and on their La Liga TV channel from 7:45pm. Fans can also watch the match on Eleven Sports through iOS mobile and tablet apps as well as on Android mobiles. Highlights will be shown on the La Liga TV channel at 10:30pm.

It’s a big game for…

Luis Suarez. While Barcelona loanee Paco Alcacer cannot stop scoring for Borussia Dortmund and Spain, the Uruguayan has appeared rather sluggish lately, demonstrated by his lethargic work on the ball in the 1-1 draw against Valencia at the Mestalla. The 31-year-old began last season in a similar fashion, however the Catalan giants will be hoping that he recovers in a similar vein to how he did last campaign to fire them to further success.

Player to watch…

Wissam Ben Yedder. The French striker has already netted five times this term, complimenting the goals from Andre Silva admirably. The 28-year-old scored the winner against Celta Vigo during the last weekend of fixtures, and given Barcelona’s problems at the back this season Ben Yedder could be an excellent option for Pablo Machin.

Past three meetings…

Sevilla 1 (Sarabia) Barcelona 2 (Pique, Dembele), Super Cup, August 2018

Sevilla 0 Barcelona 5 (Suarez x2, Messi, Iniesta, Coutinho pen), Copa del Rey, April 2018

Sevilla 2 (F. Vazquez, Muriel) Barcelona 2 (Suarez, Messi), La Liga, March 2018

28 min: Barcelona 2-0 Sevilla

Ousmane Dembele looks to make an instant impact, jinking his way past defenders in the box on the right, but he is denied just as he looks ready to unleash a left-foot shot.

It seems to be a night of coincidental accidents so far at the Camp Nou. Luis Suarez has broken a corner flag attempting to keep the ball away, before Sergio Busquets goes down after seeing the ball cannon into his solar plexus.

The whole mood at the Camp Nou seems to have been soured by Messi's injury. Barcelona are still very much in control as Coutinho has another curling effort, but this one is from much further out and goes over the Sevilla goal.

Luis Suarez may have come in for criticism for his lack of involvement in games recently, but his passing has been top notch tonight. He springs a beautiful cross-field ball to Ousmane Dembele on the break, but the Frenchman drags his left-foot shot well wide in the end.

Well, that looked very cynical. Nelson Semedo breaks down the right-hand side and Luis Suarez bursts forward to get into a goalscoring position, but the Ururguayan looks to be held back by Daniel Carrico.

Nothing given by the referee though, and the former Benfica man fails to finish it himself by slicing his shot wide.

Sevilla come so close to halving the deficit just before half time. Jesus Navas drills a ball into the box and Pablo Sarabia's touch doesn't quite have enough to divert it the other side of ter Stegen's near post.

Min 45+2 : Barcelona 2-0 Sevilla

And Barcelona should have three. Dembele feeds Rakitic through on goal, but the former Sevilla man tries to be cheeky and lob the keeper, and Tomas Vaclik is able to catch the Croatian's effort.

Half Time: Barcelona 2-0 Sevilla

It was always likely to be action packed given their standings in the league, and it hasn't disappointed.

Philippe Coutinho and Lionel Messi put Barcelona into a commanding 2-0 lead before the latter went off clutching his right arm after an awkward fall.

Sevilla have had a couple of half chances themselves, and despite having it all to do look more than capable of getting back into the game.
