Champions League draw: Manchester City handed dream last-16 tie as they avoid PSG to face Dynamo Kiev
City are looking to progress to the quarter-finals for the first time

Manchester City were handed a relatively simple Champions League last-16 draw after they were paired with Ukrainian champions Dynamo Kiev.
City will hope to reach the quarter-finals of the competition for the first time after finishing top of their group ahead of Juventus, and the result has paid off given that they avoided the most threatening team in the runners-up – in the form of Paris Saint Germain – and given their easiest route through to the last-eight.
City have reached the last-16 twice before, although they were comfortably beaten 4-1 and 3-1 on aggregate by Barcelona both occasions.
However, the Catalan side were pair with old foes Arsenal in the Champions League draw, while PSG will take on Chelsea once again having faced each other twice in two years already.
City saw off the challenge of Sevilla and Borussia Monchengladback to join Juventus in the hat for the last-16 draw, and fans will be delighted with the first knockout round outcome. Kiev emerged alongside Chelsea from Group G, having won both of their games against Maccabi Tel-Aviv as well as their away match in Porto, while they drew against the Blues in Kiev.
