Forlan disappointment with goal drought
Atletico Madrid striker Diego Forlan has spoken of his disappointment after going 12 games without hitting the back of the net.
After starring for Uruguay at this summer's World Cup finals, the frontman has failed to bring his form to the Vicente Calderon this term.
Last weekend's 2-0 La Liga loss at city rivals Real Madrid saw his goal drought extended, but he believes he will knock off the rust and re-find his goal scoring touch sooner rather than later.
"I've twice won the Golden Boot as top scorer and many people will not forget this," he said.
"I must remain calm and nothing else. In the match against Real Madrid I had two or three chances, but the defenders were able to stop me.
"The goal will come, I haven't forgotten how to score, and you have to keep trying. It is true that I was more involved in the match against Real Madrid."
