Gareth Bale made a swift exit from the Bernabeu last night despite his Real Madrid teammates still playing in the 4-3 Copa del Rey loss to Real Sociedad.

Real loanee Martin Odergaard inspired the upset at his parent club, with Bale watching from the stands.

But with eight minutes remaining, Bale was seen speeding off from the Bernabeu carpark.

Though the Welshman did not break club rules, with non-playing squad members permitted to depart after 80 minutes of games.

Spanish outlet AS shared footage of Bale beating the traffic in his Audi.

Rodrygo and Nacho scored after Bale’s departure as the home side rallied from 4-1 down.

But Zinedine Zidane’s side could not complete the comeback with the Basque club prevailing to reach the final four.

It is the second successive match that Bale has not been selected by Real.

And Bale has previously only stayed for the absolute minimum at games when not part of the playing squad.

Including another loss to La Real in 2019, where he was seen heading off at 78 minutes.

Bale, 30, was linked with a move back to Spurs last month, but remains in the Spanish capital with just two years now remaining on his contract.
