RB Leipzig signing Hannes Wolf suffers horrific leg break in Austria win over Serbia at European U21 Championship

New RB Leipzig signing Hannes Wolf has suffered a horrendous leg break starring for Austria at the European Under-21 Championships.
The 20-year-old had given his country the lead in the 2-0 win over Serbia, but had his game prematurely ended after a challenge with Serbia defender Vukasin Jovanovic.
With 15 minutes remaining, Hannes skipped away from the Bordeaux player with a clever piece of skill.
It led to Jovanovic hauling down Hannes, whose leg became trapped in the turf.
Upon review with VAR, Swedish referee Andreas Ekberg brandished a red card for Jovanovic.
Hannes is set to swap Red Bull Salzburg for Leipzig on July 1, but will now have a lengthy wait until his debut.
A deal was agreed back in January between the clubs, with Leipzig head coach Ralph Ragnick praising the player.
He said after a deal was agreed: "Hannes caught our attention due to his prominent development, which is reflected in his numerous national and international outings, in spite of his young age.
"His strengths make him a versatile option across the attacking midfield.

"I'm delighted he's decided to take the next step in his career with us here."
